Following recent events across the globe, I created Doorstep Dance a project which aimed to help tackle social isolation during the pandemic. Starting its life as 'Living Room Dance Party', I offered the regular participants of AMATA Tots and online followers to join a vitual dance party. Following its initial success, I invited the quiet street where I live to join in me in-person each week!
Lauren Syrett and Timothy P Ellis present a participatory performance featuring a contemporary dance and jazz music collaboration which was specifically aimed at older people living in care across Cornwall. The project aimed to provide new and exciting creative opportunities for residents and staff at Residential Homes across the county.

Moments of Breath and Hand Jive
In partnership with Jayne Devlin, Arts for Health Cornwall and Hall for Cornwall, Moments of Breath & Hand Jive was a performance project in care homes for older people in Cornwall. Loosely based on the hit film and musical Calamity Jane, Lauren Syrett, Jayne Devlin and Cathy Whitmore explored high quality dance performance in healthcare settings for older people.

Move Better Live Better
In partnership with Age UK Falmouth & Elisabeth Bird, Move Better Live Better was a student led project leading dance and movement sessions for the clients at the Falmouth day care centre. The project ran from May 2013 to September 2015.
